Constitutionally passionate citizens of New York State debate with the “public officials” in a Buffalo, New York town hall meeting on the recently passed and wildly ironically named “Safe Act.” From the fire in the eyes and voices of the gun owners of New York, it is clear that they are not going to submit, not going to register themselves or their arms, not going to be disarmed, and not going to give an inch.
As Thomas Jefferson an American Founding Father, the principal author of the Declaration of Independence and the third President of the United States from March 4, 1801 – March 4, 1809 said “Does the government fear us? Or do we fear the government? When the people fear the government, tyranny has found victory. The federal government is our servant, not our master!”
This so-called Safe Act is driving that state toward a state of revolution, civil war, or perhaps secession by the more rural areas. It is driving the gun owners toward a direct conflict with any police who dare try to enforce this unconstitutional abomination. The semantics or word play of the Act are anything but safe.
Many audience members made it clear they would not comply. One man said:
“I get a sense, from the audience here, that there’s not allot of enthusiasm for compliance. So, my question would be, are there prisons being opened up for those of us who won’t comply? are there going to be additional courts, to handle those of us who say ‘No, this is an unconstitutional law’?”
Today New York Daily news reported today that Governor Cuomo has quietly been seeking to raise $5 million to finance an array of television ads promoting his agenda — and he is doing it apart from a secret lobbying outfit that sparked controversy in the past.
In recent weeks, Cuomo has approached his traditional donors, public and private sector unions as well as a host of mega-donors and check-writers from the business elite, including uber-rich liberal activists George Soros, Agnes Gund and Bernard Schwartz, sources said.
The governor, sources said, has also told potential donors he is considering ads to defend his new gun regulations, now increasingly under political attack. Many Republicans, the National Rifle Association and a host of upstate county legislatures are bent on repeal of the gun-reform bill, passed with great fanfare in January.

This petition was made due to the CNN hosts controversial remarks about taking guns away weeks ago, in in lieu of the tragic Dec. 14, 2012 massacre in Newtown, Conn., that took the lives of 20 schoolchildren and six teachers and administrators. The mass shooting sparked calls for tighter gun control measures, especially for military-style assault weapons like the ones used in Newtown and in the Aurora, Colo., movie theater shooting earlier this year.One has to ask.. Is the 2nd Amendment (right to bear arms) in jeopardy? Ever since then gun shops across U.S. continue ringing off the hook. Demand for firearms, ammunition and bulletproof gear has surged.
Governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo (D), already discussed the possibility of a buy-back law for his state and made clear it would be a forced buyback. Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., said that she and other gun control advocates are considering a law that would create a program to purchase weapons from gun owners, a proposal that could be compulsory. On December 19th, 2012 US President Barack Obama called for “concrete proposals” on gun control by the end of January, saying “words need to lead to action”. In remarks at the White House, Mr Obama said Vice-President Joe Biden would lead an exploration of options.
In a petition launched this past Wednesday on the White House’s “We the People” Web page may increase pressure on President Barack Obama as his administration considers using executive orders to institute nationwide gun-control measures.
“The president is going to act,” Biden said, seated next to Attorney General Eric Holder, before meeting with victims of gun violence and gun-safety groups this Wednesday. Groups represented included Mayors Against Illegal Guns, the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, Arizona for Gun Safety and the Campaign to Keep Guns off Campus.
Biden referred to an “executive order, executive action that can be taken,” before noting that “we haven’t decided what that is yet.”
Australia implemented a mandatory buyback program in 1996 following a mass shooting. “The law banned semiautomatic and automatic rifles and shotguns and put in place a mandatory buy-back program for newly banned weapons,” USA Today recalls. “The buyback led to the destruction of 650,000 guns.”
Some liberal activists want the policy imitated here. “That would be like destroying 50 million guns in America today,” the Center for American Progress’ Matt Miller wrote after noting that Australia eliminated 20 percent of the weapons in the country.

This past Wednesday Congressman Ron Paul of Texas gave his farewell speech to Congress with heavy words of what is needed to revitalize our liberties as men and women for freedom. At the same time the stock market has been contracting throughout the month with many financial analysts speculating a stock market crash, or at the very least a minor market correction. The latter possibility could surpass the 2008 recession market correction where many people lost 30% of their 401k’s and portfolios. With European austerity protests and public disputes over how to handle Greece becoming more volatile, the threat of tax hikes (fiscal cliff) under the Obama administration on dividends and capital gains further strangling the middle class, the question of whether the Fed is actually doing the U.S. a service with QE3? and the recent news that 40 states now have filed for secession from the Union has to make you wonder what has brought us to this point? Ron Paul’s farewell speech reveals the state of the crisis we face pretty clearly.
Ron Paul said this in reference to the liberties our founding fathers warned us of losing.
“After over 100 years we face a society quite different from the one that was intended by the Founders. In many ways their efforts to protect future generations with the Constitution from this danger has failed. Skeptics, at the time the Constitution was written in 1787, warned us of today’s possible outcome. The insidious nature of the erosion of our liberties and the reassurance our great abundance gave us, allowed the process to evolve into the dangerous period in which we now live.”
In regards to the ever burgeoning size of the Federal Government he comments:
Today we face a dependency on government largesse for almost every need. Our liberties are restricted and government operates outside the rule of law, protecting and rewarding those who buy or coerce government into satisfying their demands. Here are a few examples:

Think tanks like this not only construct policy framework, but they also write the subversive talking points used in the mainstream media that manipulate the masses into acceptance of that framework. New Orleans as Isaac takes direct aim on southeast Louisiana. Plaquemines Parish has had a levee breach at 3:33 am CDT . The breach was confirmed by Homeland Security at 3:51 am CDT. A breach means the levee is being over-topped.
Isaac is turning out to be a more a significant storm than originally expected as the region observes the 7-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.
Power companies were reporting more than 500,000 without power across the southeastern Louisiana and southern Mississippi.
Mayor Landrieu says 70% of New Orleans was without power as of early Wednesday.
The National Weather Service has reported severe wind gusts of 60 to 70 mph since late Tuesday across the area with numerous trees and power lines down. Some isolated locations have reported wind gusts over 100 mph.
Plaquemines Parish President Billy Nungesser said part of the roof of his home on the parish’s west bank had blown off. He described wind-driven rain entering his home as “like standing in a light socket with a fire hose turned on.”
Officials said an 18-mile stretch of levees on the east side of Plaquemines Parish was over topped by storm surge.
Meanwhile, on the Mississippi coast, dozens of roads were closed or impassable due to storm surge flooding and heavy rainfall. Trees and power lines were also reported down across roads.
Highway 90 from Gulfport to Biloxi was reported to be experiencing significant flooding, with up to two feet of water reaching the doors of the Hard Rock Casino early Wednesday.
A significant storm surge of 11 feet was reported at Shell Beach, La, late Tuesday while a surge of 6.9 feet was reported in Waveland, Miss., the NHC reported.
Fire officials reported they were unable to get to a home that burned to the ground amid storm surge flooding in the Bay St. Louis area Tuesday evening.
Isaac came ashore Tuesday night near the mouth of the Mississippi River, then went nearly stationary back out over the coastal waters for several hours before making a second landfall in Grand Isle.

A noticeably rapid armament of the Department of Homeland Security with a recent purchase back in March of 450 million hollow point .40 cal bullets may reveal an anticipation of civil unrest by our law enforcement. Another ammunition order is in the works for the Department of Homeland Security on the order of 175 million .223 cal ammo.
The D.H.S. insists the munitions are strictly for target practice and for training T.S.A. and or I.C.E. agents.
In a story just leaked by the Drudge Report coming on the footsteps of the Department of Homeland Security purchase The National Weather Service put out a solicitation for 46,000 rounds of hollow point bullets. A solicitation which appears on the FedBizOpps website asks for 16,000 rounds of .40 S&W jacketed hollow point (JHP) bullets, noted for their strength, to be delivered to locations in Ellsworth, Maine, and New Bedford, Mass. A further 6,000 rounds of S&W JHP will be sent to Wall, New Jersey, with another 24,000 rounds of the same bullets heading to the weather station in St. Petersburg, Florida.
The solicitation also asks for 500 paper targets to be delivered to the same locations in Maine, Massachusetts and New Jersey. The National Weather Service is is one of six scientific agencies that make up the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The solicitation requires a response by August 21.
The N.W.S. is following its federal counterpart the D.H.S. in securing large quantities of ammo. In March, Homeland Security purchased 450 million rounds of .40-caliber hollow point bullets that are designed to expand upon entry and cause maximum organ damage, prompting questions as to why the D.H.S. needed such a large amount of powerful bullets merely for training purposes.
The real reason for theses weapon purchases may be the ensuing economic collapse fears and the fact that gun sales in the United States are above 5 million per month now. In addition to that we have 48 million Americans out of 311,591,917 without work and a national debt of over 15 trillion dollars. To put these numbers into better perspective as a whole, Europe owes €10,592,499,200 – or €10.59 trillion. Massive Government spending that lacks any impressive job creation is a recipe for systemic fiscal insolvency and civil turmoil.
One could say lately in the United States there has been a preponderance of questionable legislation passed such as the “National Defense Authorization Act Addendum 2011″, which now permits the President of the United States to unlawfully search or detain American citizens without normal due process of law. That means our 4th and 5th Amendment rights in the Bill of Rights are absolutely nullified or non-existent.
On to the next piece of even more ridiculous legislation is “Fast and Furious” that now finds
Attorney General Eric Holder under citation in contempt of Congress for not publicly divulging any information on the Fast and Furious Scandal. According to intelligence coming out so far it reveals a outrageous story involving the Department of Justice and the A.T.F. using unlawful ghost buyers to buy guns at U.S. gun stores bordering Mexico covertly. From there agents casually strolled across the United States Border into Mexico putting thousands of non-traced guns into the very hands of criminals. This action definitely does not make our borders with Mexico more secure with the already previous increases in cartel influenced crimes there.
The worst shooting in U.S. history, the Colorado Mass shooting occurred in an Aurora Multiplex Movie Theater Premier of The Dark Knight Rises early last Friday morning committed by James Holmes 24, killing 12 people and wounding 58, with witnesses describing a scene of claustrophobia, panic and blood. The last thing anyone wants to touch
right now politically in America, in an election year is a UN Gun Ban Treaty. Those who appreciate the Constitution and the 2nd Amendment are concerned that the treaty will be used as a vehicle to force gun control measures and bans on the American people in spite of strong congressional and public opposition. A group of 51 U.S. Senators threatened to oppose the treaty if it failed to protect Americans’ constitutional right to bear arms. In a letter to President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the senators expressed serious concerns. Gun control is a politically explosive issue in the U.S. . New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg bolsters the fiery gun control debate further just days ago on CNN with Piers Morgan Tonight. Bloomberg tells police nationwide they should go on strike and not protect people until they change the gun laws in congress.
According Yahoo News , White House Press Secretary Jay Carney recently said, “”I think there is an issue about the stalemate in Congress”[on gun laws]. He continued, “And there are things that we can do short of legislation and short of gun laws, as the President said, that can reduce violence in our society and, as he mentioned last night, in our urban centers.”
Since the start, the US has opposed the inclusion of ammunition, China does not want small arms and both Russia and China have sought restrictions on references to humanitarian law.
A draft treaty circulated on Tuesday was severely criticized by rights groups, including Amnesty International and Oxfam, as full of “ambiguities and loopholes”.
Syria, North Korea, Iran, Cuba and Algeria and other countries have sought from the start to thwart the treaty, diplomats and activists say. The treaty must be agreed by a consensus of all 193 countries involved. A vote on the UN Gun Ban Treaty is set between now and sometime next week. Once signed this treaty has the ability to take away an individuals firearms only allowing state actors meaning government, military and or police to use weapons for defense.
The heat gripping the United States in a seemingly never ending fashion eased a bit this past Saturday as a cold front came through along the eastern half of the country .This has given a slight respite from the horrendous triple digit heat there. It’s a marginal silver lining, but at least temp’s will be in the low to mid 90’s in the eastern United States. Temperatures will begin to creep past the 100 degree mark in the Western states in cities like Salt Lake City, Utah by Wednesday in response to a developing high pressure over the Rockies.
Out west high pressure will continue to build in further over the week pushing the jet stream northward into southwestern Canada, allowing the heat to advance north as well. The unbearable conditions from the heat wave have unfortunately claimed 74 lives across the U.S. since it began just two weeks ago.
The hot spell caused highways to buckle in Illinois and Wisconsin, officials said. In Maryland, investigators said heat likely caused rails to kink and led a commuter train to partially derail Friday. No one was injured. Many states in the Midwest have not seen heat like this since the Dust Bowl of 1936. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association 2012 has broken well over 40,000 daily heat records nationwide. It was the countries hottest July 4th since recording began. Agriculture like corn and soy crops are being heavily damaged from the pressure cooking heat. Severe thunderstorms blew through over a week ago knocking out power to millions in the eastern part of the U.S. . This has only added insult to injury from the already sweltering summer.
In lakes and rivers across parched areas of the U.S., heat and lower water levels are reducing oxygen levels thereby killing fish populations by the thousands. When water becomes hypoxic or lacks oxygen these large water animal die offs can occur. Wildfires continue to burn across the western United States, including wildfires in Colorado and the Fontenelle Fire in Wyoming.
NASA says the fires have a warming effect on the atmosphere due to the increased emission of aerosols, which are suspended solid or liquid particles in the air. These particles can absorb more radiation from the sun hence causing hotter weather and poorer air quality in the form of smog. Children and the elderly are the most susceptible to these adverse weather events. Make sure to drink plenty of fluids and wear sunscreen when venturing outside.

Today when you are leisurely out enjoying the fireworks with family or friends remember this day was achieved through the blood sweat and tears by our American forefathers. Their hope was to draft a Declaration of Independence that would free them from the oppressive tyrannical nature of the British Empire. Tyranny now can be epitomized by the deleterious nature of the global banking system and its threat to not just our sovereign-ties but the entire economic freedoms of the world. From austerity measures overseas, to quantitative easing in the United States, the banks got us vaulted. I leave you with The Declaration of Independence July 4,1776 from the the U.S. Government Archives. This is a blueprint for any country or peoples who feel the ugly hand of tyranny upon them.

When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
